With this café, we wanted to created a fully functional space and an atmosphere which blends into the layers of its urban surrounding. The spatial structures, with emphasis on the serving areas, were designed hand-in-hand with the manager and the team of baristas – so to develop the smoothest framework around the daily workflow. My Green Cup is a venue of the highest quality of coffee making. Quality as such is much represented in the design by a consistent selection of the core materials: all around the space durable walnut surfaces were used, which align with the texture of roasted coffee-beans.
